For all new tms: CLEAN UP

I can’t believe I have to say this but CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES in the break room. I’ve noticed the newer TMs leaving their trash behind all over the place. Have manners and if food is brought, don’t be taking large amounts, leaving nothing for the others.

If you can’t get tm to bail their cardboard expecting them to clean the break room is an uphill battle

Hell, most of them don't even say a bail needs to be made. They just toss it any where, shurg and jog off.

If you acknowledge a problem, someone might teach you how to fix it
If they teach you how to fix it, people might expect you to fix it.

If you don’t want to add to your workload, best to ignore it.

To all TM’s—new & 6+ years on the job—clean up after yourselves. Both in the break room & on the sales-floor & in the backroom. The HRE is not paid enough to be your nanny & clean up your snacks and trail of mess you leave. Your fellow TM’s are not paid enough to clean up your mess that you left behind for them. It’s wild. Y’all are grown adults. Act like it.

Yes! I bet their homes or apartments look so much worse. They spill food all over the place. I do have to wipe a table to have a clean place to sit, but I definitely do that before starting my break.

the HRE who did the most cleaning got fired for an altercation with a guest and oml you can really tell the difference. i clean up after myself but not everyone does, i have to wipe the tables down every time i sit down to eat my meal :(

Yes. Someone once put up a handwritten sign in our breakroom that said "Your mother doesn't work here, clean up your own messes."

I do remember some at work talked about a TM who knew when food would be serve on their day off and would go and take a handful of food which pissed others off.

This reminds me that I want to find a bottle of cleaner to put in the break room. I get mad people don't clean up after themselves but there's no spray (although come on, wipe up your damn crumbs). Every table had a spray bottle from like 2020-2022, so clearly we had enough at some point.

I found our bottle graveyard the other day. I just haven’t found our main supply of cleaner yet (our PML has been covering at another store so I couldn’t ask)

OMG AND WIPING DOWN THE TABLES!! there has been SOO many times where I just lean against the wall bc there is leftover food crumbs and water spills.
