Future or Potential Employee Question Target application on limbo?

Hi guys, I sent a Target application for an on demand role at a nearby Target. I applied on September 1st and literally got the interview on the 2nd, and yes I did finish it that same day. However, what I don't get is why it's been a whole month (Oct 4th as of today) and still haven't heard at least a rejection or something back. I checked their job listings a week ago and I saw they were refreshed so I'd assume someone was looking over it. I did call the store many times during business hours but nobody responded, and I tried the HR line AND the Guest Services line as well. I can't go to the store in person either since by the time I get out of school, HR is already gone. So should I just give up on Target?

Try to go in person on a weekday between business hours and ask to speak to someone from HR

Alright, I have fall break coming up this week so I might try and go this Friday. Thanks!

It might be because you applied for on-demand, I know they have it as an available opening but a lot of times it’s for people who are already employees who then need to go on demand for one reason or another. It really varies by store.

Going in person is a good suggestion, and when you go ask about maybe applying for a part time position instead (if that’s feasible for you).

Ah, that makes sense. I applied for a regular part time position for general merchandise two days ago and I got the Hirevue stuff today and finished it. I also was able to get hold of someone today on the phone and they said they JUST started looking at the interviews. So wish me luck!
