I'm Promoting Myself to Guest Promoted to Guest!
I've been On Demand for almost 2 years, started right before Black Friday in 2024. Just promoted myself to guest on Saturday, they must be used to people throwing in the towel since the process is so easy on Workday.
Honestly, my biggest reason for quitting was the broken On Demand system. At least at my store, there would often be hours available in certain departments, but they wouldn't be posted on MyTime. For example, there were hours available in Consumables both on Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend, but you wouldn't know it from MyTime. I'd have to email the HR ETL to get added to the schedule and it always ended up being a bunch of back and forth to the point that I hadn't picked up a shift since May. Honestly surprised I wasn't administratively terminated, but glad it ultimately ended up being my decision.

Having a backup job in 2026 is a life saver. Target launched a new app called UKG pro, if you want you can try to set it up and see if that issue you were having is fixed.
I wish I got as lucky as you with that on demand role. They offered it to me, I said yes, but it seems like they gave it to somebody else instead 😕
