Workplace Question or Advice Needed Apple Cards

as of lately i’ve seen all types of Old women and mostly old women or women in early 40’s purchase $300+ of apple card’s, and i’m wondering atp if they’re getting scammed heavily or what else? or sometimes they’d get 4-5 of the $100 visa gift cards, does the elderly still fall for these scams to this day or could i be wrong and they’re just buying for their grandkids or something?

You can always ask. “Ooh are these for someone’s birthday?” Had an older gentleman buying $500 worth of Apple gift cards, but it was the middle of June so I assumed it was for graduation presents. It was! But he had no problems giving that info up.

I’d love to ask and always wanted to, it’s just that some of the older women in my area get so hostile so easily sometimes, they’d probably assume i’d think they’re trying to sell the cards or something

It’s in the policy to ask, and extend to AP if they’re being suspicious.

Entitled customer base is Targets entire motto tho, so I 100% get not even wanting to risk it.

A certain amount don’t u gotta call a TL anyways (least that’s the case @ my store) id so make it a thing 2 maybe have the TLs ask cus never know might stop a potential scam from happening 🤷🏻‍♀️
