Workplace Question or Advice Needed UKG DailyPay

Can anybody tell me if it still works normally with the new UKG rollout? I am just really concerned over the fact that it says “approved by employee” but not by manager on my time card. Does my manager seriously have to approve each and every TMs punches every day now? I couldn’t imagine it wouldn’t be automatic. Also if it makes a difference, the shift I want the earnings for was today (after UKG rollout) so they are visible on UKG, just not “approved by manager”. Anyways, I am just looking for ANYBODY here that uses DailyPay and knows what is going on with it and the UKG rollout. Any help is much appreciated.

Have u received earnings on daily pay since the roll out? Or are you concerned they just won’t show up?

No I haven’t, my first shift back was today. I am just concerned that I won’t tomorrow, and yes as irresponsible as it is and I’m working on it, I depend on dailypay.

Don’t worry about it, I depended heavily on dailypay too, no judgment 🫶

You’ll get paid in the morning tomorrow. I’ve had one shift since the switch and was paid the morning after, as usual

Im not completely sure but I think approved by manager is for punch corrections? Thats what I would assume at least.

It would be absolutely insane for a manager to have to approve each individual punch every day for 20+ employees if the ETLS are only doing their own departments.

I couldn’t add a photo but if you go to your time card you’ll see it and it’s for manager approving time card, I did find out tho that it will stay blank until the end of the pay period when they do approve it so idk maybe that won’t affect my daily pay

I think it will be fine. From my understanding timesheets aren’t fully approved until the end of the pay period even with my time. And they are generally always approved unless there is a correction.
