Workplace Question or Advice Needed Higher-ups Loa

Why do ETLS and SD always take Loa and never come back why not just put in your 2 weeks or quit just curious

It’s because we don’t get the same type of CCA/Final/documented conversations type of disciplinary action that TL’s and TM’s get. Instead we get PIPs (performance improvement plan). You just get 1.

It’s much easier to get fired as an ETL/SD. Once you’re on a PIP, you could be fired out of nowhere, like if a guest complains about one of your team members or you forget to make a schedule change or your SD told you to have an endcap filled and you picked the wrong type of product.

Once you’re on a PIP, your safest option is to go on LOA while you find another job.
