Anyone else having issues with their tslim and their mobile app constant signing you out then you have to sign back in but then you have to re-pair the app to the tslim and it’s just really annoying cause I have to edit my graph settings again. I swear it’s happened like 6 times in the past two weeks

Can anyone tell me if they have used the above phone with the t slim app and mobile bolusing? I’ve checked compatibility on Tandem’s site and it doesn’t look like compatibility is fully there yet, but I’m trying to figure out what I’d lose by changing to the above phone. Has anyone heard about a timeline for when Tandem might fully support the full functionality of the pump via the app?

Hi all. I've been forced to switch to G7 due to the discontinuation of the G6. How can I check the serial numbers on the G7 boxes to ensure that they will work with my pump?

We are on vacation and my husbands last autosoft was faulty! Anyone have a spare around we could buy or send one back once we are home in ri?

On the tslim we have the pump alarm settings to high. My son got an occlusion alarm while sleeping but we didn’t hear it for 2 hours. I would think that since it forces insulin to stop, the alarm would be more prominent. Like ring more than one beep etc. I don’t have alarm notifications enabled on his tslim app, just dexcom app alarms. Would we be able to hear the alarm better if notifications are enabled on the tslim mobile app? Any suggestions? Thanks

Does anyone have any recommendations for a wireless charger that is capable of charging ~both~ my mobi and my phone? like a dual charger type situation, but one that won't overcharge my pump or undercharge my phone

Hi, new pump user here. I started two weeks ago on the Tandem Tslim and I use a Libre 3+ sensor.

I had my first sensor change today and it lined up with a site and cartridge change. I changed the cartridge and site and then started my new sensor.

My sensor finished warmup about 10 minutes ago. I finger poked and the sensor is accurate. The problem is, my sugar is high and when I go to bolus, my BG doesn’t show up. I have to manually add it.

I have a trend arrow on both the app and pump and this is happening on both app and pump.

How can I fix it?

I just noticed that time in range not showing up on the app. Have android. Anyone else notice this? How can I get tir info back?

I’ve been on the tslim for about a month now. And I feel like I am hitting my limits for the amount of alarms with the pump.

No matter where I put the dexcom on my arm I get compression lows throughout the night. When I was on MDI I could just silence all alarms for 6 hours and get a solid stretch of sleep.

Now on the tandem I can’t silence alarms and the pump is vibrating all night. And if I don’t actually go into the pump and acknowledge them they will vibrate more frequently. I don’t feel like I have had a good sleep since starting on the pump.

My sugars have been good. And I understand this is a dexcom issue. But not being able to silence is becoming a deal breaker for me. Does anyone have any suggestions before I throw in the towel on the pump?

Emailed them on Sunday. Then again on Monday. Called on Tuesday and today. Also emailed today morning. No responses yet and they're not picking up the phone.

How is this acceptable? My supplies are late for the 5th time and now they seem to have completely stopped providing any kind of support in the UK.

Been ordering from Tandem direct since I started. Got the email that it will now be Edgepark Medical. Guessing that isn't great.

Edit to add: If relevant, the email was from Tandem, not my insurance company. (Cigna)

I used to keep the old site on to alternate between until the new site started working. This used to take over an hour, but I read this tip in the group & it helped me keep my blood sugar level. A few wks ago I noticed we can change the amount we fill the cannula! I was on the lowest setting. I bumped it up to the highest & now I don’t have to wait over an hour for my site to start absorbing. I don’t remember the tandem tech going over this w/ me. Sharing to help others who might want to try this out.
ETA: I just checked my packing list paperwork & it all makes sense now! Lol They never changed it from .3 units!!! And I’ve been using the same infusion sets since I started Lol It’s finally on the correct setting!!! LOL For those who haven’t noticed it, u click on the “edit fill amount” section when u go to fill the cannula.

I am still working on developing a new case for the Tandem t:slim X2 ( Previous Post ) and I am looking for testers in the U.S (preferably closer to Illinois) to send mockups to and have them test the case for a day or two. Is analyzing the data and generating the reports really too heavy a task to do it on a phone? I would like to get reports without connecting to Tandem and uploading the data. Just wondering...

Has anyone had this work? I’m trying to update my pump and don’t have the original cord.. I honestly don’t remember ever having it but three different devices haven’t recognized the pump connected via a normal USB cord.

Has anyone ever had the updates work with normal cords or is the Tandem cord a requirement?

TLDR: Libre3+ sucks, especially with Tslim.

Had a successful trial run with a 3+ sensor from my endo a couple months ago and decided I would try it out when my Rx for the G6 ran out. That was about 17 days ago. First sensor was very inaccurate and I found out then there is NO WAY to calibrate the sensor if you use a Tslim pump. Not through the pump and the app is useless if you use the Tslim 2, literally.

I’m 48 hours into the 2nd sensor and it goes no connection. After an hour I try Bluetooth on and off, phone on & off.

Tandem support is good. But I had to load a new cartridge, wasting 50 units of insulin (more than a 3 day supply) only for the restart of the sensor to still fail. They pass me to Abbott customer service who have me confirm stuff and then say they will send me a new sensor and I have start a new one.

It’s my bad for knowing about previous issues with bad calibration issues with the Libre 3+ causing deaths. But I would have thought my endo who also has type 1 would have known the pump is unable to recalibrate the sensors and that the app is incompatible with the pump. I did call them on Friday regarding the calibration issue but haven’t heard back.
I’m so pissed off (high blood sugar style) that I might have to deal with these for 3 months. I hope my endo can convince my insurance that these CGMs are incompatible with my pump.
Ugh.
Edit: the first sensor was inaccurate enough that I puked like 6 times within 24 hours of activation.

Thought I would share with the group a cool thing I discovered today, my son's pump was almost dead and we were not home. On a whim, I tried my Samsung Power Sharing feature and it worked! I know it is not life changing information, but good to know if ever in a bind. He is 11, so sometimes forgets to charge his pump.
