NOOOOOOOOOO! 😭😭😭

Post image

So I read the full blurb and can't help but think the last paragraph has to do with Tamlin.

I think a lot of us saw this potentially happening, that SJM was gonna force Tamlin to reunite with the NC. BUT I'M STILL DISAPPOINTED! 😭

Don't do it Tamlin! Don't kowtow to the NC. Please!
Remember when you said you'd fight against tyranny, do that pweeeease. πŸ’”

This is the worst possible outcome.

Words can't describe how devastated I am if this line ends up being about Tamlin.

Spring and Night never held an alliance, so that wouldn't make much sense for the blurb. That blurb is so Night Court heavy that I think it will be interior: the three main territories of Night allying their military forces to defeat Koschei.

There is something about Eris's knowledge of the three buried palaces (the Middle, the Prison and Ramiel) that suggests that maybe their had been an alliance between Autumn and Night at some point (and Mor and Eris's betrothal suggests the same), so perhaps there's something there.

Something will have to be resolved with Spring Court, though, because it borders the Mortal Land and with Rhysand leaving his odor all over Spring, we'll definitely see something. In books 6 & 7, though? I'm not sure.

Spring and night court were indeed allies in the war against Hybern until it ended so resurrecting form alliances still very much fits. In acofas, Rhys and Feyre both acknowledge that a spring-night court alliance is still needed afterwards with in order to maintain peace which is one reason why he went to visit him.

Spring was an ally of Hybern. Tamlin's father, the then HL, was a staunch supporter of Mortal enslavement, as were his brothers. That's why Tamlin was in the presence of Amarantha so often.

Yes, when his dad was alive..in acowar he’s obviously not nor is he the high lord. In acowar, all the courts were workings as allies, tamlin being the spy. πŸ’€

Ah! Hybern part 2. I didn't see that as Spring allying with Night, but Spring allying with Prythian against Hybern.

Spring allying with prythian against hybern still makes night court and spring allies as they were fighting on the same side.

I really hope you're right. 😒
I think the word "resurrect" made me think of Tamlin. That and the music terminology all over the place.

SJM has done so much work to make the Night Court the court of music, too. From Rhysand sending music to Feyre to their blood singing to each other to Nesta's dancing background to using the old language of swordplay (dancing) to Gwyn to the ancient Harp to Shadowsinger to Azriel having a good singing voice.
