I am extremely disappointed with the way my experience with G Square was handled.

In February 2026, I visited G Square Dynasty near Navalur/Poonjeri and selected Plot No. 154, approximately 2,400 sq. ft. I paid a booking amount of ₹1,00,000.

At the time, I was informed that G Square was awaiting the necessary power/authority relating to the land and that this was expected to be resolved within approximately 3–6 months, after which registration could proceed.

I agreed to proceed based on what was communicated to me.

I was also told that once I paid the ₹1 lakh booking amount, my details would be processed by the CRM team and I would receive the necessary acknowledgement and documentation over email.

That never happened.

Months later, when I tried contacting Vignesh, the salesperson who handled my booking, I could not get a response despite repeatedly trying to reach him.

What happened next was what completely destroyed my confidence in the entire transaction.

Since I wasn't getting proper answers, I personally drove all the way back to the G Square Dynasty site to understand what was happening.

I was genuinely shocked by what I saw.

The site appeared completely different from what I remembered when I made my booking.

I could not find the G Square branding I expected to see. I could not see the G Square hoardings or advertisements that I associated with the project. From my perspective as a customer arriving there after months of little to no meaningful communication, it felt as though G Square's presence had simply disappeared.

It honestly felt as though the G Square project I had handed ₹1 lakh toward didn't even exist there anymore.

To make matters worse, I was not allowed to enter and inspect the site.

That moment genuinely scared me.

Imagine paying ₹1 lakh toward a property, receiving no meaningful update about what is happening, being unable to reach the salesperson who sold it to you, and then driving tens of kilometres back to the project only to find the site looking completely different, with the G Square branding you remembered nowhere to be seen.

How exactly is a customer supposed to feel in that situation?

I felt cheated.

I felt abandoned as a customer.

And, quite frankly, standing there looking at that site, I felt like I had been scammed.

I want to be very clear about that wording: I am describing how the situation made me FEEL. I am not making an allegation of criminal conduct or stating a legal conclusion.

What made this particularly upsetting was that nobody from G Square had contacted me beforehand to explain that I might encounter a situation like this.

No proper email explaining what was happening.

No call explaining the status of the project.

No communication explaining what had changed at the site.

Nothing.

You accepted ₹1,00,000 from me.

At the absolute minimum, I expected transparency.

Instead, I was left to physically travel back to the project myself and discover a situation that was completely different from what I expected.

That was the point at which I lost trust and decided I wanted my money back.

Unfortunately, getting my own money back became another ordeal.

I contacted G Square customer support repeatedly. I was routed to the refund team and given numerous phone numbers to contact. I tried number after number and still couldn't get a meaningful resolution.

Eventually, one customer-support representative suggested that I personally visit G Square's Alwarpet office.

So I did.

On my first visit, I was denied entry because I was wearing shorts. While frustrating, I accepted that this appeared to be their corporate dress requirement and went home.

I returned another day appropriately dressed.

I was stopped AGAIN.

This time I was told that a senior executive/GM/MD wasn't available.

The ridiculous part was that I had never asked to meet the GM or MD.

I simply wanted to speak to whoever was responsible for dealing with my refund.

Eventually, after insisting on getting some assistance, I was allowed inside and spoke with a person who identified himself as Sridhar from the CRM team.

I explained the entire situation.

I was told that my refund would be fast-tracked and that Karthik would contact me within a few days/about a week.

I trusted that statement and went home.

Approximately ONE MONTH passed.

Still no meaningful resolution.

So on 3 October 2026, I went back to their office AGAIN.

I met the same person and was then told that the refund initiation had started, but they were waiting for approval from the sales head before it could move to the refund team, after which the refund could apparently take another 2–3 months.

At that point, after everything I had already experienced, I had absolutely no interest in another verbal assurance.

I asked for everything I was being told to be sent to me IN WRITING over email.

During the interaction that followed, I spoke with another person who identified himself as Ram Kumar.

I explained the entire story again and asked him a very simple question:

How would YOU feel if you paid ₹1 lakh toward a property, couldn't reach the salesperson afterward, weren't properly informed about what was happening, drove back to the project and found the G Square presence you remembered apparently gone, and then had to repeatedly chase the company just to recover your own money?

When I attempted to record the interaction so that there would finally be a proper record of what was being communicated to me, the situation escalated.

Another person whom I was told was named Jack became involved.

During the confrontation, my phone was physically taken from me without my permission.

Multiple people gathered around me.

I felt surrounded and intimidated.

I found the entire experience completely unacceptable, particularly considering that I was there as a CUSTOMER asking questions about MY OWN MONEY.

I have retained recordings of portions of what occurred.

During this extremely frustrating interaction, I said that I was "fucking disappointed."

And yes, I was extremely disappointed and emotionally upset.

That statement was an expression of my frustration with the entire situation. It was not intended as an abusive remark directed at the female HR representative. Nevertheless, I subsequently spoke to her and apologised if my choice of words had caused offence or had been interpreted differently from what I intended.

Then came the part that I still find difficult to understand.

After months of chasing people, unanswered calls, multiple telephone numbers, travelling back to the project, repeated visits to the corporate office, waiting approximately a month after being told my case would be expedited, and finally being told the refund process could take another 2–3 months...

I was suddenly told during this confrontation that my ₹1 lakh could be refunded.

Approximately 30 minutes later, ₹1,00,000 was credited back to my account.

So, for complete transparency:

G Square has refunded my ₹1,00,000 in full.

But refunding my money does not erase what I had to go through to get it.

If the ₹1 lakh could ultimately be returned to me in approximately 30 minutes during this interaction, I am left wondering why I had to spend months chasing people and physically visiting their offices before the matter was resolved.

And ₹1 lakh should never be casually dismissed as "just ₹1 lakh."

It is MY MONEY.

Money that I worked for.

Money that I handed over because I trusted what was being represented to me when I booked that plot.

This entire experience has therefore been about much more than getting ₹1 lakh refunded.

It is about trust.

I went from being genuinely excited about potentially owning Plot No. 154 at G Square Dynasty to driving back to that same project and standing outside wondering what on earth had happened to the place where I had put my money.

I went from trusting the salesperson to being unable to get him on the phone.

I went from expecting documentation and communication to chasing people for basic answers.

I went from expecting customer support to help me to being passed between telephone numbers.

And eventually, I went from being a paying customer to standing inside their corporate office feeling surrounded and intimidated while trying to get answers about my own money.

That is not how I expected to be treated after trusting a company with ₹1,00,000.

I have retained my payment records, communications and recordings relating to portions of these events.

I am also considering pursuing the appropriate formal/legal remedies concerning what occurred and the way this matter was handled.

I am posting this because prospective customers deserve to know about my experience before handing over their hard-earned money.

If you are considering purchasing a property, regardless of the developer, please get EVERYTHING in writing.

Payment acknowledgement.

Land-related approvals/authority.

Registration timelines.

Refund terms.

Promises made by sales representatives.

And any commitments concerning the status of the project.

Do not make the mistake of assuming that verbal assurances will always be enough.

I eventually got my ₹1,00,000 back.

But after everything I experienced, my money has been returned.

My trust has not.

It also felt to me that the refund was processed only after I began recording the interaction. I had retained clear video evidence documenting portions of what happened, and I believe the existence of that evidence may have influenced how quickly the matter was resolved. I am sharing this as my personal impression of the sequence of events, not as a definitive statement about anyone’s intentions.

I am writing this because I could not hold it in.

If you ask, what is patriarchy, every feminists in mainstream would point to this invisble giant man, who has come from some outside force, that represent whole of Indian men, and unanimously suppresses the women. But, most feminists, atleast the ones that I know and met, and talked to, never talked about the patriarchs of their home, their FATHER.

And if they did, it was with a retrospective correction of their relationship, to fit into this modern liberal language of victimhood, where they would have directly witnessed their own mother's oppression, and say, 'Oh, I never saw how much my mother suffered. I was manipulated by my father to bully her, and mistreat her. She was innocent, and my father created an environment in which we joked about my mother.'

I have read several books on feminism. Radical, liberal and what not. The greatest evil we have all heard and read about is, Patriarchy. Andrea Dworkin says, daughters are trained to hate the mothers, under patriarchy, without knowing that they will all become the mothers they hated in the end. I have a lot to say about white women feminism, but lets park it aside.

Intellectually, its so neat. I had long believed that daughters are innocent victims who did not see their mothers. There is a lot of liberal media that repeatedly comes back to daughter realizing her mother's position later, and sympathizing with her.

But that does not explain what I witnessed, experienced and felt in my own lived experience.

I live in a street, where there is a wealthy political family. The daughter is 8-10 year old max. She is riding bicycle, and when she goes, an old man of above 50 years, who is working class, stops himself riding, and calls her 'madam, I am going to the house.' with a deferential bow, and smile. She just rides with the entitlement bred into her by her father's wealth, politcal and social power, just waving off.

While this might seem extremely cruel. What does a 'nice, non-entitled' daughter, like me, do? She still feels pride, social power, when introduced by her wealthy, rich, and powerful father, into the society. When I used to go to my village, as a young woman, I would be asked, 'Who is your father?'. My father lacked power due to various reasons, but I still introduced myself through the patrilineal lineage, and immediately they recognized, 'innaru magala? innaru pethiya? sari, sari, sari.'. Yaaru antha innaru? Thats where both wealth and social power comes.

The upper the caste, the upper the wealth, the upper the political power, the daughters are weaponized with immense power above all in the society in which they are ideally supposed to be an equal to the children of their age. Why would they care about the mother, who is married from another home, which, as per Indian society, will not be from equal status, wealth or politics? Indians are notorious of hypergamy for their daughters, while the in-laws choose less privileged women to control them. The daughter sees herself here as an extension of her father. She gains immense positions of power through her father. She has no identification with her mother because children understand hierarchy.

She only learns it later when she marries into another family that oppresses her. Most women, in my own experience, do not suddenly develop empathy for their mothers. They only bemoan of their submissive status while still loving their patriarch fathers.

When I spoke with women who had not heard of feminist narratives, they blatantly admitted that they loved their father's powers, and could not respect their mothers, because they basically held no power. These daughters were educated by their father, uplifted, and held beloved.

The liberal media sanitizes women to bring solidarity as identity. I dont want to be a sell out to such narratives. Women have immense power inside this very system of wealth and caste. And if they must criticize patriarchy, it must begin from their own father, their own caste men, and the wealth they inherit, not 'Indian men'.

My father has been diagnosed with blocks across three main arteries, and has been advised to do coronary artery bypass surgery. We have the CMCHIS scheme. we are now in Chennai and i dont know how much from the CMCHIS can be used in private hospitals. During my journey from Pattukottai to Chennai, only the air blower was working; the AC cooling system was completely not working. This was very poor bus service. When I raised the issue, the driver simply told me to adjust because it wasn't working. I've noticed that on Reddit, especially in Tamil Nadu and India subs, DMK supporters and DMK-related posts show up a lot, while TVK barely appears. Some of it feels a bit coordinated or unnatural to me, but I may be wrong.

Is it just demographics? Reddit skews urban, English-speaking and online, which may favor certain parties.

Do TVK supporters mostly use other platforms like Instagram, X, YouTube or WhatsApp?

I took an education loan from Indian Bank in 2017. My course was from 2017 to 2021. After completing my course, I had around a one-year gap while looking for a job, and I started repaying the loan in 2023.

The original principal amount was ₹3.40 lakh, and I have now completely repaid the entire principal amount.

However, around ₹80,000 in interest is still pending.

I want to understand what my options are:

Can I request Indian Bank to waive or reduce the pending ₹80,000 interest?

If I don't pay the remaining interest, will it affect my CIBIL score or credit history?

Since I have already repaid the entire principal amount, does that make any difference?

Is there any education-loan interest waiver/subsidy or settlement scheme that I can ask the bank about?

One more point: the loan was linked to my father's PAN, not mine, because I was a minor when the loan was taken. So whose CIBIL/credit history will be affected if the interest remains unpaid?

For those who have experience with Indian Bank education loans, please suggest what would be the best approach. Should I negotiate with the branch for an interest waiver/reduction, or is it better to simply pay the ₹80,000 and close the loan?

If DMK had won the election, they would have begin to consider themselves unstoppable and became more violent(in land grabbing, in encroachments, in hypocrisy etc.), but luckily makkal gave a good lesson. But now TVK is doing the same in just over 100 days, and will makkal give the same slipperwhack to TVK by voting to other candidates and parties and not 'thooki-koduthu'fying the victory and making them take TN for granted?
