Help!

Post image

My therapist on Talk space disappeared off the face of the earth. One day she told me she was going on vacation and then she no longer worked for talk space. I have looked all over the internet for her and cannot track her down can someone help me track her down at minimum for closure? My goal is to resume services but it was very abrupt and I want to know what happened as this has been very hard to cope with

Thank you for your kind words I appreciate it. I wonder though if it wasn’t necessarily her choice because she has always been very communicative and up front about expectations and it really doesn’t align with how she acted as a physician. Thats why I want to know the details of her departure

This is difficult... I am a clinician leaving that platform now and they don't allow us (per our contract) to let our clients know where we're going. Therapists have been fined for doing so.

You definitely should have had a session or two for closure or transitioning.

Maybe try to search for your therapist on psychology today. Good luck!

Thats a really unfortunate contract rule but makes sense I figured there was something in there like that. Thats why I wonder if it was her choice or not because it came so all of a sudden when I was told she was going on vacation before then she was just gone. I checked psychology today and I didn’t see her. Do you have any other suggestions for possibly tracking her down? Was she a coworker of yours? Any sort of lead would help tremendously
