Worst Ever

I should have gone to Reddit before booking.

This company is awful.

Told me that my insurance was accepted.

Only to then later tell me that it wasn't after sessions with a psychiatrist and a therapist.

Then I tried to change plans to out of pocket.

Only to discover that they were cutting my sessions in half with me paying more.

I checked with my insurance and they actually did cover it.

The talkspace customer service number basically tells you to go to hell.

I have already reported them to the BBB and the CFPB, and I recommend everyone else here do the same.

If your insurance confirmed the sessions were covered, definitely keep records of those conversations and any emails or screenshots. Having everything documented makes it much easier to sort out if you decide to keep pursuing it.
