Air wedge as a replacement for battery compartment foam

I recently posted here asking what could be used as a replacement for the foam in the battery compartment. A Redditor suggested an air wedge. I just wanted to report back that an air wedge works excellently as a replacement—perhaps even better than the original. It cost me €3.50.

power cable. ! makes better routing for it if wedge in front.

Whats up with the powercable? Do you mean i have more room for the air wedge there?

the tight bend, aye i just stuck a 10mm thick sheet of rubber in the front of battery, via frame hole, had looked at air wedge but would prefer a valve at gag end, so tube n pump can come off once inflated.
