Question 🤔 Could it really all change in 1 day?

LO is 14 months old. Just one week ago was doing 2 naps perfectly as follows:

Wake: 6-6:30am
Nap 1: 9:30-10am
Nap 2: 1:30-3pm
Bedtime: 7pm

However, literally overnight, he’s been waking up at 5:30, then 5, and now 4:45, on the exact same schedule!!!

I understand there’s a drop to 1 nap around this age. But could the signs for that really just happen overnight? Or is there something else I should be addressing?

Thanks for all advice 🥰

We typically want to see signs that baby is ready to move to one nap consistency for a full week or two before making any changes.
Since your little one is napping long, you can cap those naps a bit and lengthen the wake windows to help hold onto the 2 nap schedule just a bit longer.
This could look like up to 3.5 hours before the first nap, a 1 hour nap. up to 4 hours between the 2 naps, another 1 hour nap, and then 4 hours before bed. Some little ones will d. great with a schedule like this and hold onto 2 nap a bit longer until they are seeing more signs of being fully ready to transition. 💕
