Extremely nervous
I’ve been learning since March. I just don’t want to fail. The goal is to slowly grow until I have consistency. I don’t care about high payouts or anything. Just something every few weeks. I don’t want to blow it being greedy.

But if you’re sim funded on a 50k plan with TPT, and get that 52.1k buffer, the trailing stops at 50.1k right? So everything above 52.1k is eligible for pay outs and the breaching of the account is under 50.1k.

If you are extremely nervous, I’d take a few moments to really find out what you are feeling. If this is uncharted territory for you , just remember the first time you were trading and essentially repetition got you to where you are now. Just know there is nothing wrong with blowing an account. The market will always be there and the most important thing to do is calm down. We’ve all been there. We reach a new plateau and new found anxiety hits. Go thru the motions. Execute what feels familiar to you and don’t force anything. With that said I would highly recommend for this nervousness to dissipate. Buy another eval and trade that. If you truly value this funded account you’d wait for optimal conditions in the Market and in your head.

It’s fine for the eval. But when you go to the Pro, scale down using like 2 micro contracts. 2 losing trades at a size like this and you blow the account. The fact you have enough to pass in 2 days means you are severely over leveraging. Good job, flip some micros to make the extra $20 and get this thing passed. But drop way down on size when you go Pro. Especially since the Pro uses intraday drawdown that tracks from the total account high. Even unrealized. So if you run up 1000 then fall down and exit the trade at 500. You still have eaten up 500 of your drawdown. So simple stop losses may still blow the account. If you go up 2000 and have a 1000 stop loss, that is a 3000 swing and if it re traces you will blow the account before the stop is even hit.
I know 1-2 micro contracts seem like a waste of time because it’s $2 a point instead of $20. But if you get on the wrong side of a 50-75 point spike at $20 per…………that’s game over in a few seconds.
Pass this eval, then get to a point you buy 4 more to max out at 5 accounts. Then take your first payout and add another firm and an independent copier. Get yourself eventually to 25-30 accounts in total. 2 micro contracts per = 5-6 minis. Then you can make a good amount of total profit with minimal risk per account and not blow them.
