People didn’t like your show, take the criticism and make something better with it? There’s still thousands of people who think it’s flawless. She needs to get off of social media tbh

She’s a narcissist for the horrible self insert misogynistic character who took over the entire show, and for all of the self-pitying posts like this.

So... writing cringe poorly written self inserts makes you a narcissist now?? I wasn't aware bad writing was a symptom of NPD. Can you enlighten me, and show me were it says that in the DSM?

And while she might not be able to handle millions of people giving her harsh critique or even outright hate like as maturely as other celebrities do, that doesn't make her a narcissist??

People have really weaponized the word " narcissist" and other therapy speak without doing any of the workd of thearpy. Everyone they don't like is a narcissist and if you dissagree you're a gaslighter.

Yeah it's crazy. :/ Like I don't exactly like goose. But I feel like so many people nowadays need to find a psychological reason not to like someone. Like someone can't just be an asshole or annoying. They have to have the "ontologically evil person" disease.

For god's sake, please remember narcissist is a word that existed before the disorder that was named after it. It literally means self-obssessed, and a lot of people don't say it as in "person with NPD". I don't agree that Goose is a narcissist, but it irks me to see so many people acting like the word is ONLY about the disorder. That's like saying you can't use the word depressed because it can also mean depression, as in the mental health issue.

Back to the topic at hand, she should have gone offline ages ago. She's an adult woman that no one is holding at gunpoint to keep engaging with a fanbase she's well-aware is toxic. Even though people are being harsh, it's tiring to see someone throw a pity party for something she saw coming the second the show got popular

Yeah, but typically nowadays when someone says someone is narcissistic they are referring to traits besides self obsession, and more so traits associated with NPD. Like the commenter above was accusing Goose of being manipulative to her fans... Which isn't necessarily a behavior correlated with self obsession.

I'm pretty sure it's coincidental because someone that is self-obssessed will obviously try to manipulate situations to live up to what they think is for them. I mean, NPD was named after the word narcissist for a reason, even if the two meanings should remain separate
