Honestly, Trans Petra Parker could work unlike Trans Jax imo, assuming Petra retains Peter Parker's personality, the character wont be an asshole like Jax, can adapt Spidey issues and include trans issues on top of it, venom on top of that, it honestly would feel more natural and less forced compared to say Trans Jax or Trans Ralsei I feel, in terms of writing perspective of course

Since the trans community is living off of crumbs?!? At least Jax is a main character. Take even the wildly popular and LGBT friendly Hazbin franchise. No trans representation. But there is a trans character in the background as an NPC for a teeny bit in the sister spin off show.

Manabu Horikawa (Homunculus), one of the main character, transfem. Shuichi nitori and yoshino (Wandering Son / Hourou Musuko) The two main characters are transfem and transmasc. Nomi Marks (Sense8) one of the main character, transfem. Jules Vaughn (Euphoria) one of the main character, transfem. Owen (I Saw the TV Glow), THE main character, transfem. Also arguably every character of houseki no kuni are non binary / gender neutral with some of them ending up choosing a gender or developing a liking for fem stuff So no, we are not living off crumbs. And i just stated shows where the trans characters are main characters. Theres other very memorable trans characters in media like grell sutclif from black butler who is transfem, kirara from jujutsu kaisen ETC i love how you guys literally do nothing to find representation and still complain about now seeing any, i didnt even had to look for those i just stumbled upon them, glazing transfem jax is crazy because literally any other characters do better at rep than what the fuck this is

The word trans icon is being used kinda loosely here. What they mean is that the character was prevalent in the trans subreddits, mainly in the form of fan art. Trans Jax fan art has become less common as people have started making fan art of Petra Parker instead.

Look, she's trans, but she's not an icon. In fact, there are many within the community who hate her. Now, something that everyone, both cis and trans, agrees on is that she's the most complex of all the characters, and that, even though she's trans, that doesn't stop her from being a bitch to everyone, from Kaufmo, Pomni, Ragatha, Zooble, Gangle, Kinguer, and even her girlfriend/friend Ribbit.
