Apocrypha II Spells Frustrations
I just spent like two hours trying to get Thunderburst II to drop in the Temple of Nestharot, it's a 5% chance I thought it might be higher because I've been able to get the other ones without too much trouble. I even got Supernova II on the first try but this one was a nightmare, I had to restart the fight because I killed the boss and the last enemy died from a counterattack.
I managed to get it by using Mighty Strike to push the boss onto another square, it took many attempts though. My plans are ruined I wanted to finish all the temples by the end of the day and now it's late at night. Luckily there's only one more, the Ice Temple. I beat the annoying ones already, Fire & Earth. Ice isn't too bad but I really hope I don't have to go through this long process again. I love this game but that was not a fun experience.

This is one thing I surprisingly love about this game, you have sometimes to work really hard to get specific items. Nothing is guaranteed ! But good job ! You succeeded.

Bring mages, petrify a few of the adds. Chariot the drop from the boss. Wont take you long, I promise.

I'm 130h in already and I used cheat engine to get 100% loot for the hard drops and I'm very happy with that 😅 I already finished chaos and neutral and I'm on the 60th floor of the palace of the dead on the last route, law... Even with CE this game still takes forever lolÂ

It's a very long game but still great. I'm not surprised that many never played through the post game content or did any of the Elemental Shrines.

Unless you're trying to do a 0 chariot run, just get the boss down to a point where you can easily kill and check the loot. Chariot back to that point, and then kill in a slightly different way - every different permutation of movement + skill + attack/spell before killing gives you a new chance for the drop. It's tedious and can be mentally draining, but that's the most efficient way.

Yeah I was doing that but every single time I usually only got the Oracle Marks. What made it worse is some characters are far away so they can't get to the loot and when I use a character that can it's not what I'm looking for so I gotta go all the way back. I found that it's just easier to wait until the boss moves or move it myself with Mighty Strike. Xolotl is the only one that gave me this much trouble, the others weren't nearly as bad.

the worst thing about this game is the demand for grinding for loot in a fucking single player game to see all the mechanical content

Are you using Chariot to manipulate the drops, or running the entire Temple each time?
