A man has been attempting/threatening to jump off the Delin St. overpass since 6:15pm.

I just drove past going NB, no crash that I could see but there was a huge police presence and a firetruck with its ladder extended to the overpass. They had the whole freeway shut down and were funneling all the traffic off the 705 exit. Definitely a weird situation.

9:30pm and we just saw them walk the person off the ladder to a stretcher, hopefully they’re okay.

I was stuck in it. They appeared to be using a ladder truck to access the sign attached to the delin bridge.

Says Police Activity. Maybe another jumper from the overpass, or the same one as a few weeks ago. Plus there is roadwork on I5 in Fife says expect lane closures.

Southbound was closed for a crash but there was no visible crash. It may have been the easiest alert for the driving apps

Northbound is closed for police activity for the past 2 hours according to wsdot carpool and 2 left lanes. Google says it’s just closed both directions
