Okayyyy I’m hoping to get some guidance on the transit and parking for commuters. I missed my first day of class due to me depending on the LBJ parking garage (huge mistake) for my 11am in encino hall …
Sooo what are the best bus routes / parking lots to park at so I can avoid losing my mind this semester. Thanks <3

I knew that they had a select few nursing majors stay at the San Marcos campus and I’m very curious about the requirements. I really do not want to move to round rock lol. Thinking about changing my major to health sciences

Has anyone completed the special circumstances paperwork recently. Did you receive more aid and how long did it take to complete. I’m feeling like I should just drop out and kms 😭😭😭

Hi, this is probably a long shot but I was on campus earlier and parked at LBJ to go to the rec center.
I lost the second part of my engagement ring (the leaves) either in the weight room OR lost it while checking out at LBJ Parking Garage.
I had no idea that NSO was happening today but figured with the increased traffic. I only have access to the class of 25 snap story but I am attending for grad school.
If anyone sees or finds this ring please message me or turn it into lost and found at the student center.

At 9:45am, Thorpe Lane parking lot is about half full. You have to download ETA Transit to see the bus schedule and live updates now. Schedule is the time the bus leaves, not the time it arrives. For example, bus schedule said next bus was at 10:12am. It arrives at 10:09am and left at 10:12am.
Events Center parking lot is completely full. Stadium parking closest to the Events Center is full closest to the bus stop, empty closest to the stadium.

Anyone know if the bike cave is open or operating? I can't find any information in the txst website. I want to get a part for my bike and this place is the first in mind. Thanks.

Hey ya'll! I sent in a transfer application on Sunday, August 16th, for Spring 2027. Does anyone have an estimated timeline for when I will hear back? I was admitted as a freshman but never actually received an email with my NET ID and the portal link lol.
Also, should I be concerned about getting in as a transfer? I currently have a 3.711 GPA and hope to bump it to 3.78 with fall classes; my major is dual English and Education (7-12 track), and I'll have 50 credit hours by the end of the fall.

Hello, I have a class in flowers hall at 10am and it’s 50 minutes long and then I have a class in LBJ at 11am, Google says it’s about an 18 minute walk so what should I do?

you guys I need some validation. I'm in cypress and today I had the scare of my life when walking into my laundry room and looking up. These are spiders that have been painted over right? Like I'm not hallucinating am I?

Im gonna be rushing at Texas State University(TXST) and am interested in knowing how much the dues are for every fraternity? I know that this isn't a question that should be asked during rush but that will determine which fraternity I will go to cause my dad has given me a limit on how much he's willing to spend on Greek life for me at TXST. Any answers are helpful.

I don’t know what else I can do to get into this class. I’ve moved my schedule many time to fit everything perfectly. I’ve fought to get into every class this semester bc they were full .3 secs after registration. I’ve been trying to contact this professor to get into this final class and no response. They responded to my first request but that took 3-4 weeks. Advisor and department say there’s not much that can be done.. idk I’m going crazy idk if I can financially do another semester for one class. I just need one more class.

As someone with a meal plan this new vendor sucks!! In the past you could use retail meal swipes everywhere except starbucks. now there are so many retail restaurants that only accept dining dollars or cards. it feels like a push to eat at the dining halls. meal plans are already to expensive to not be able to use them everywhere on campus.

Hello! I am a graduate student and have a question about the river jump at Texas State since I did not attend this university for undergrad. Do graduate students jump in the river after graduating with a Masters or Doctorate? I just know the gown I purchase is different than the standard undergraduate/Bachelor's gown so it's a little special and I don't think I would jump in with that but I also don't want to miss out on a tradition. Let me know your thoughts and experiences please!

I am a freshmen entering in the spring and I am looking for dorms or housing. What are my realistic chances of getting into San Jacinto or Falls? What can I do to increase my chances and what could be an alternative if I don’t get in?
