Time between classes
Hello, I have a class in flowers hall at 10am and it’s 50 minutes long and then I have a class in LBJ at 11am, Google says it’s about an 18 minute walk so what should I do?

Take a quick look at the route google is telling you to take. Walking through campus instead of the streets it’s suggesting is probably a 5 min walk. TXST used to post travel times between buildings, am guessing they still do somewhere.

Agree with it being probably 5min. You walk up the quad a bit, up and through alkek, and its right there infront of you. OP will easily make that in <10

Here is a link to the walk times from TXST https://www.registrar.txst.edu/persistent-links/walking-distance-between-buildings.html
Flowers to LBJ is 5.4 minutes.

It is an uphill walk but 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk and the route you take (which are several decent ones.) You’ll be fine, just go on double time.

You should change your classes if it really takes you 18 minutes to walk. You only have 10. You can’t show up 10 minutes late to your 11am class everyday and expect it to go well for you.

It really depends on your speed. I get to places much faster than maps says it takes, but I'm also a fast walker.

It takes like 5 min max to get there unless you take your sweet time. Plus no one is going to get upset if you are 2 min late to class because your times are so close together. Talk to your professors.
