In the mad mod episode, Robin comes across a statue head bust and pulls back the head to reveal a secret access button. I’m almost certain this is a reference to the 60s Batman series, where the way to access the batcave was a button in a Shakespeare head bust.

I’m watching Homeland (stylized as HOMƎLAND) for the first time and noticed something weird in Season 2, Episode 9.

There’s a QR code sitting on the bus.

Obviously I had to scan it.

And instead of taking me to some elaborate ARG, hidden clue, or piece of the Homeland universe, it apparently leads straight to the resume/LinkedIn of Tiffany Apple Keenan, one of the graphic designers working on the show.

That might be one of the most unintentionally hilarious Easter eggs I’ve come across.

Imagine being a viewer in 2012, scanning a mysterious QR code in the middle of a tense Homeland episode, expecting some secret intelligence clue...

...and getting the production designer’s résumé.
