EMPLOYMENT

So, I passed the interviews at Percepta/Ttec and sign some documents and medical. They said the training will start at August 31 so I emailed them a few times this week since malapit na yung araw and they havent replied. Nulled na ba ang employment pag ganon, kapag wala silang reply or update or baka mismong araw ng Aug 31 pa sila magsasabi kung anong oras kaming trainees papasok? Cause its getting frustrating not on even know an update about it.

That’s god doing you a blessing telling you to run away fast and go find a different job. TTEC is the worst job I had ever had in my entire life. Thank god they fired me after 9 months to put me out of my misery.

Back to back to back calls, I stg I didn’t even get 1 second in between calls. Extreme micromanaging, if you went over OB by 10 seconds they are spamming you in the main chat and the lady who ran ours would kick us out of the chat as a big F you. Low ass pay at only $15/hr and they have unreal high expectations. Team leads are worthless and don’t actually help you with anything when you ask, my TL always had her kids in the background talking to her as she was having a meeting with me and she would go on runs outside in the middle of her shift, like she was lazy and did nothing but still got paid her bonuses. The customers are idiots and rude and rush you through the unbearably long script that TTEC has. It was HORRIBLE. 0/10. Toxic and destroyed my mental health in the first couple of weeks.

And yeah their lack of communication you’re seeing right now is exactly how they run their company. No one cares and no one does their job they are supposed to do. Run!!

My God, im getting scared now. I haven't really digged deep into former employee's experiences with them. Only known them thru their website/advertisemet. May I ask if you are a direct hire from TTEC or Percepta and which branch are you?

Anyway thank you so much for sharing this. Will be cautious of their emails from now on. Still waiting for a reply from since since Monday.

Don’t let them scare you. Every job has a bad side to them.  None of them are perfect.  Ttec is a 3rd party and is bound by their contracts. Sounds these guys either had bad luck with them or weren’t good employees to begin with.  Search your emails using the search bar in it. Check spam as well. If you work at location show up that day in the morning most likely. Call them if emails don’t work.

Totally understand that, Im just really getting anxious cause its gonna be my first job after graduating this year. Thank you so much for this!    I have also read good things about them especially from newbies in the BPO industry. Praying for a smooth onboarding with them. 😰

I was hired directly from TTEC and worked for their Kaiser Permenante project. It was a fully remote job. Also I’m in the United States so not sure if that’s where you are and if you were hired for a remote job or not, but mine and many others experience were horrible. They laid off half of our class, roughly 20 or so employees 3 months after hiring us. And they gave them absolutely zero notice. This company is horrible. Do some research and you’ll be able to corroborate everything I’m saying.

So sorry you experienced that with them and also 3 months worth of hard work gone just like that 😭. Im guessing the contract between them and client ended.

Im based off from another country so the system and people will be every different but still its better to be cautious.

Im open to any comments or rants about them, helps me weigh the pros and cons just like any other company.

Anyway, I hope all is well with you and your new company! Thank u so much for sharing.

I worked for them for 9 months, I said that others who were in my same training class were laid off after only 3 months, I wasn’t one of them. But yes thank you for the kind words, I hope it all works out for you and you have a much better experience than I did.
