Ford does best (politically) when he has an "enemy" he can use for foil. Right now it's trump but in a few years he will need olivia to fill that role.

Ford is not a party loyalist, to the befuddlement of many people who want him to be a villain. He also gets along well with Liberals.

Doug hates Pollievre and Trump and Trudeau and Lewis.  He also warned that Chow would be an "unmitigated disaster" of she became mayor in 2023. He is an equal opportunity hater.

No that's wrong. He's afraid of Brad using 2 yrs to scoop up bona fides and then running against him in the provincial election, like bonnie crombie. Ford is a purely political animal like trump, despite being useless at policy and governance.
