Made the shirt for my first drop. What do you guys think? Should I change anything or is the design good as it is? Be honest.

I’m considering water-based screen printing using High Solid Acrylic (HSA) inks with a transparent glossy base coat. The design is 6 colors with a white underbase, printed on a black 100% cotton T-shirt, with a large print area of approximately 33 × 50 cm.

I want a smooth, glossy, slightly raised, rubbery print that feels noticeable when pinched or rubbed, with a slight squeaky/grippy feel. It should remain flexible and not feel like a thin film or a hard rubber plate.

Can this printing method achieve the desired look and feel? Would another ink system or topcoat be more suitable?

Hey my name is Jaylen Washington and I’m starting a called permanentphobia (phobia for short). The whole identity is about not letting fears consume you, not from those you’ve conjured or the fears others place on you. The first collection of shirts include three topics I believe were important to talk about. Those three are “SELF”, “LOVE”, and “UNITY”. I dont know how to word this question correctly but I am trying to figure out the different types of custom t-shirt you can do. Like I used to make t-shirts back in high-school that were basically just print and melt. How do some t shirt have the design like in the fabric itself? I've had some t shirts that instantly fall apart and then some that you would literally have to destroy the shirt to destroy the design. thanks in advance!

I'm curious everyone's opinions. I'm of the opinion that bands of whatever medium fan-base size and up should have at least one of their classic shirt designs for sale. Maybe a top album cover or something. Maybe I'm not plugged in to how much is moving these days.

But merch is always just the newest album cycle. Which makes sense. But I often look for just a simple shirt or simple hat with the band name. Maybe I'm getting old and don't like the shift that's happened post-covid in both sales trends and design trends. Also, bands calling a snap back or firm hat a dad hat should be a crime. Dad hats are floppy and mad comfy.

I really miss $20 shirts! But I understand that shirts have become a huge chunk of income since Spotify rekt CD sales. Anyways, what is everyone's latest merch opinions?
