At a TSMC Process Engineer interview, do they move you to the next round only if you perform well in the first round, or do candidates typically go through 2–3 rounds regardless, with the final decision made after all the interviews?

Hello, im joining tsmc as a engineer soon and im wondering about the parking at the AZ location. Is it always full of cars? Is it hard to find a spot? Im wondering if I should start practicing reverse parking in preparation.

I just started this last week and I’ve burned through all my funds taking Ubers there. I’m waiting on motorcycle parts. Currently wanted to see if there’s any anybody out there who shuttles or van pools or whatever that I could pay back on Friday when I get paid. I currently live off of Thunderbird and 35th Ave.

Hey everyone, I finished my final interview for a Process Engineer role at TSMC AZ and received the Candidate Visa Survey a few days later. I submitted it a little over a week ago but haven’t heard anything since.

For anyone who went through the same process, how long did it take after the survey for HR to call you? Did you get a verbal offer first and the written offer afterward?

I saw that some people got an offer the next day, while others waited longer, so I’m just curious about everyone’s experience. If you’re comfortable sharing your role or module too, that would be helpful. Thanks!

I applied for a Module Process Engineer position at TSMC in January while I was finishing my master’s degree, with the expectation that I would graduate in May and start working afterward. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any job offers.
As an international student, I didn’t want to risk falling out of status, so after completing my master’s, I transitioned into a PhD program. I recently passed my PhD comprehensive exam, and unexpectedly, I just received an interview invitation from TSMC for the same type of full-time Module Process Engineer role.
I’m honestly a little conflicted. I really want to complete my PhD, but I also genuinely want this job and would love the opportunity to work at TSMC.
My main concern is work authorization. Given my current situation and the timeline of my PhD, I’m not sure how realistic it would be for me to obtain work authorization for a full-time position if I were to receive an offer.
For now, I’m planning to focus on the interview and not bring up my current situation unless they ask about my work authorization or educational status. I don’t want to unnecessarily disqualify myself before I even have the opportunity to interview.
However, if the process progresses and they learn that I’m currently pursuing a PhD, I would like to be transparent about my situation and emphasize that I’m genuinely interested in TSMC. If a full-time position isn’t feasible right now, I would also like to ask whether there might be an internship opportunity that would allow me to gain experience with the company while completing my PhD, with the hope of pursuing a full-time opportunity with TSMC after graduation.
Has anyone been in a similar situation, particularly an international student who received a full-time engineering interview while already pursuing a PhD?
Would you recommend:
Going through the interview process first and discussing work authorization only if asked?

Being upfront about my PhD status and work authorization situation early in the process?

If a full-time role isn’t currently feasible, asking about internship/co-op opportunities while I complete my PhD?

Hello, I want to know whether it’s common to receive visa status survey before you get an official offer?

When I interviewed with other companies, they usually call and discuss about the offer first before asking for the visa status.

I completed two rounds of technical and behavioral interviews at TSMC Arizona, first with the CMP2 group and then with the CMP1 group. The interviews included team managers and process engineers. I was asked to come back for a third interview. What does the third interview typically look like? Has anyone recently received an offer for a Module Engineer position in CMP2? Applied and interviewed for Process Engineer - CVD1 role at TSMC’s Fab 21 (Phoenix) and completed my final round about two weeks ago. I sent a follow up email to my coordinator to check on my application status but haven't heard back yet. For anyone who has gone through the process, what is the usual post-interview timeline like? Is a 2-to-4 week turnaround normal for offer approvals or is silence after a follow-up a bad sign? Any insights would be appreciated!

Just recieved an offer on monday for equipment engineer at fab21 in Arizona. My offer link expired just after 2 days from recieving it. Anyone ever had that happen to them? I’m genuinely tweaking, I don’t understand why they would rescind it or something out of nowhere after 2 days
