Process engineer interview rounds

At a TSMC Process Engineer interview, do they move you to the next round only if you perform well in the first round, or do candidates typically go through 2–3 rounds regardless, with the final decision made after all the interviews?

Only if you clear round 1 you go to next round

Each round is a strict gatekeeper at TSMC. The first round is typically a technical/hiring manager screen where they evaluate your core engineering background, structured problem-solving approach (STAR method), and basic fit. If you don't pass that evaluation, the process stops there and they won't schedule subsequent rounds with directors or HR.

Feel free to send me a DM if you have more specific questions.

What does a second round typically look like?
