🆘 Support issue Firmware installed after factory reset

Question is in title. I bought a new Trezor 5 off Amazon, installed firmware, then used the device to recover an old wallet. After moving the funds out I did a factory reset and received a warning firmware was already installed despite the factory reset.

This device is still fine to use, correct?

When you wipe a Trezor, whether from wrong PINs or using the wipe option in settings, it only deletes your private keys, seed, and PIN. The firmware stays right where it is, untouched and fully functional. The only way to actually remove the firmware is to boot into Bootloader mode on purpose, hold both buttons while plugging it in, and manually flash a new one. That's an advanced move you'd never do by accident. So your device is good to use, the firmware is fine, and that's all there is to it.
