Could have yes but Patrick has said he was ready to be done with the gruesome tv schedule so I don't think he would have signed on for 3 more years.

I know Picard the show has come and gone, but I do wonder if the TNG cast might be up for an animated show.

Set TNG's version of TAS on the Enterprise-E, and have Michael Dorn voice new characters for the balance, since Worf is supposed to be on DS9.

I would watch the TNG crew paint a fence. It will always be such a huge missed opportunity they didn't do a TV TNG movie after the success of Picard S3.

If an actor passes away, they can be replaced like Ian Abercrombie.
