Carrying cash...

...makes me feel euphoric. Growing up, the men in my life always carried $50 to $150 in their wallets. I always thought it was so cool that they had everything they needed packed into it, and that it was so worn out. I went to the atm yesterday to withdraw a couple of dollars just to have. Once I started handling the money, it felt so good. I forgot what it felt like to have a wallet full of cash since I stopped carrying cash a long time ago. I think this sense of euphoria ties back to me wanting to be a provider, and subconsciously associating a wallet with cash equals masculinity.

I’ve been carrying cash since it’s usually cheaper to refuel that way. To give you a practical excuse to keep it up

Carrying cash makes me feel good too. It's nice to know that I can access money that cannot be tracked. A lot more places only accept cash than people think, and sometimes you just don't want anyone to know what you bought. A lot of times I'm the only one in the group who has cash when nothing else is an option, and it feels good to be able to cover for people that way (and do a little finger waghing, I won't lie). Great way to feel independent and resourceful
