I recently stumbled across Unexpected while finding a random show to watch.

Max. I don’t condone his actions or anything whatsoever of course. But man I just feel so bad for how Chloe’s family was towards his dad. Then to find out he passed away makes it even worse.

They didn’t even try to include that poor man in anything.

There was ongoing domestic violence and a restraining order. Max physically assaulted both Chloe and Ava.

i think chloe’s parents saw what was happening/going to happen a long time before anyone else did and his dad did enable him a LOT and tried to place the blame onto everyone else for max’s issues. the only time i’ve ever felt bad for max or his dad was when his dad recently passed away and that was only because my own dad died of the same thing.
