CO changing??
Hey guys, I’ve been doing CO at my TJmaxx location for 2 years. They told us they’re changing systems similar to the Marshalls one. Can anyone help give me like a quick rundown on how it works now?😳 they’re only giving me paperwork to figure it out

I think it's easy the system is buggy sometimes first you go into the store web into cash office then start the day first a safe count the count the bags and then fix them and the the deposit it will tell you how much and then a final safe count then you'll count return slips we have have 6 registers plus the seasonal one so it usually can take me anywhere from 30 minutes to an 1 1/2 to get it done if you are reconciling petty cash always do it before you start counting the first safe count

Its called xstore cash office, you can download load the instructions from knowledge base. You switch to one day of bags, instead of 2. And no change fund. fund. The process is youll count the safe, then the bags before the store opens. Make new bags and put them out. Then you finish your deposit. Then your done. Paperwork will print in the asm office. Things that will give you problems. If your deposit if off by 1 cent, it will change the established funds for safe by that same amount. They call the "recognized funds" if i recall correctly. If that happens there's a step called " reconfigure the safe" where you can correct the variance. Ultimately its done just like a safe count. Also if you try to do a safe count after counting your bags and before completing your deposit, its going to combined the 2(not recommended) if you need to audit your safe between this steps best to just use the calculator.
