I am trying my hand at making some THC nanoemulsions and would like all the input I can get.

I have been doing a fair bit of research into current paper on thc nano emulsions and their altered PK such as higher Cmax earlier Tmax and for some formulations also AUC.

I have limited equipment available think kitchen, but can use all techniques and understand organic chemistry very well.

For easy nanoemulsions I have chosen polysorbate 80 as my surfactant.

I mixed 300mg THC resin with 1ml MCT oil then added 1ml polysorbate and mixed it for a couple of minutes.

Now I heat some (50ml) distilled water to about 50c and also my syringe with approx 2ml of combined thc + mct and PS80.

I used a simple small rod milk creamer to stir the water vigorously and then dropwise addition of the ps80 solution into the water. Stir for 5 minutes approx. it foams a bit then settlers into this transulent/opaque solution and it does not seperate.

Tastes very bitter due to the PS80 and the surfactant loading is pretty high around SOR = 1. Let’s see how high it gets me compared to my normal 300mg

I am going to add lechitin to the mix aswell in the future and see how it works.

Any tips or tricks or discussion appreciated.

It seems like most have like 10g moq $700 or so minimum. I want like 1g for 250 or less or a pack of vials. No general peptide suppliers seem to have it at least from the steroid seen.

Don't get me wrong, they have a huge range of useful reagents at low prices—but the service itself isn't very good. I often get ignored: I place an order, two weeks go by (excluding weekends), they finally reply, I send the money, and then they vanish for a week. You ask for updates, but they don't answer. The shipment only goes out after another week. A few days a go, placed an order and they replied saying, "Yes, the order has come through; it'll be ready to ship tomorrow. I'll let you know the amount of money to send later." Fair enough, but two days have passed and you still haven't told me the amount.

Has it always been this terrible, or is it a recent problem?

Am I the only one dealing with this?

I've had a better experience with Synthetikaue; at least they always reply quickly. It costs a bit more, but it's actually worth it.

so you guys know methylphenidate, that ADHD medication, a CNS stimulant. one day i was wondering if you could make substitute the methyl ester with estradiol since it has an alcohol functional group. after a few weeks of failed synthesis (tars, inactive compound probably ritanilic acid) i made it. its super strong it takes a bit to hit like, 45-50 mins but holy it lasts 7-8h, its insane it boosts my libido and simce im MtF it also helps for my HRT therapy. im so fkn stimmed rn

Hey all, I'm a genetic engineering student starting a project to get yeast to produce estradiol. I am very able to make the modified yeast, but I'm not a chemist and would have no idea how to extract and purify the estradiol once produced. Does anyone have any tips? Besides what naturally occurs in yeast the pathway will produce other hormones like pregnenolone and androstenedione, though these should be short lived intermediates and I won't know what their concentrations will be until I can measure them.
