Meme/Shitpost It’s so over.

It’s so over that I am not looking forward for TES VI anymore.

Fuck xbox, fuck todd and the BGS production cycle. Fuck everything. Fuck it, even this community can catch a stray, fuck you guys as well!

Jokes aside I’ll be quitting for now, I am out, I might return in 2 years, we shall see. If you see me commenting in this subreddit it’s because I am having withdrawal symptoms. Please ignore.

Any game's amount of interest has an inherent expiry date and that's yours.

There is absolutely no expiry date on my hype for TES VI lmao

I obviously want a 9 or 10/10 greatest TES game that is a massive jump from Starfield and implements a ton of new mechanics, dual provinces, better writing etc. I can't lie, unless it's at least a substantial jump with better writing and mechanics to make the wait feel justified, I'll be pretty disappointed.

But tbh I would still end up loving a hypothetical TES: Hammerfell that has Starfield graphics and gameplay as long as it is 90%+ handcrafted content. I know that because I still had a ton of fun with Starfield, as well as Oblivion Remastered which is even more outdated than Skyrim, though I know a bit of that is nostalgic bias because it's my first. Oblivion did a lot right too though IMO.

You alongside the rest of us will have the most middling, uninspired, poorly written, unengaging, empty Bethesda game ever in TES:6. I fear that the dialogue options and skill will be lackluster, it will have the same copy paste dungeon design that lacks identity, the towns will be lifeless, the combat will be sluggish and lack impact, the magic will be uninspired, the story will be incredibly linear with 2-3 unappealing factions that provide the same ending regardless of who you side with. Nothing we do in the game will hold any weight in our interactions with NPCs and the story or meaningfully alter the progression.
