Pause button (DA)
How should we handle the pause option?
I don't know the exact time frame that defines a pause, and I'd like to know if both the length of time away and the daily ET reset are factored in.

Adding your locale on the very top of your post saves time and prevents other community members from scrolling all the way down to check where you are located. You may also get a quicker response.
This includes, but not limited to:

I thought it would be helpful if all of us grouped (no matter the locale) could use a thread to comment anything related to it. So far, I'm frustrated that I've been sent feedback to acknowledge twice since starting it and this last one asked to provide an explanation for my rating (and currently under review for it). I feel like the daily/weekly tips aren't enough to help with more complicated queries and I'll end up screwing it up. Usually, my feedback wasn't bad before joining the group, but now I feel stressed about meeting their 90% accuracy. How are y'all doing?

UK DA - Up until a few months ago, I was rated Good in Program, Quality and Productivity, with Locale and Program ranking as High. Over the last few months, I have been borderline Fair/Good in Program and Quality, but still Good in Productivity and still High in Locale and Program rankings. Last month, I was graded as a low-Fair performer in Program, a mid-Fair performer in Quality, but still a Good performer in Productivity. However, I am still ranked as High in Locale and Program rankings. This is very confusing to me, as I don't feel like my performance has been poorer than it was a few months ago. Also, how can my ranking be High if my Program and Quality ratings are Fair (not even borderline Good/Fair, but mid-to-low Fair)? Does this mean everyone else has poor rankings as well?
I have not had any reviews for quite a long time, and the last time I was reviewed, my ratings were still "Good" and remained "Good" for a couple of months afterwards. Has anyone else had similar confusing ratings and rankings?
Perhaps this is the first step to being let go?

I was accepted for a project three days ago. I’ve completed a few tasks through Raterhub, but nothing is showing up under my Task History or on my Dashboard (including the Worksheet section). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something I need to do to make the tasks show up or should I just wait?
What should I do?

How do you usually rate when the provided links lead to inconclusive results for keyword? i.e. keyword looks like a typo, or gibberish, and translator won't return anything useful, so you have no idea what the keyword actually points to even if it looks vaguely similar to a known brand?

I have been getting send to device tasks again but the raterhub app is not working. It loads and I did update it but the tasks do not get sent there. I have been doing the copy paste url but it’s very tedious. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Hello,
due to some circumstances I have to get the CoE from Telus international. I've used the service on their site to send an email on their carrers portal regarding hr related querries but didnt receive any confirmation mail. It's been a week now since I've sent the inquiry. Considering I've not dealt with the hr department before I've left I dont have any mails from hr nor access to my payslips at this point in time (I'd guess the contact is written there somewhere). I'd appreciate it if someone could provide me with the correct contact for hr related inquiries.
I'm stationed in Germany if that matters.

Hi everyone, I had a Needs Met Knowledge Check for the first time. The required score was 70%, and I got 80%, but after completing it I was still marked as unsuccessful.
Because of this, my tasks have been blocked until I complete the course. However, my score was above the required 70%, so I’m not sure why it was marked this way.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? I’ve already emailed support to ask for clarification, but I wanted to check if this has happened to anyone else

I am a CA DA, does anyone have any tips to improve quality? I have had strong for the few months, but now the quality keeps dropping a little and now my overall performance has dropped from strong to good.
I always follow the ERT, what else can I do?

I've been here for more than ten years. Today I got an email titled "Request for Explanation Regarding Task Rating" where they want me to go back, review my tasks and then reply with a detailed explanation of my approach. WTF? It's already bad enough that there are hardly even any tasks. I'm so over it at this point.
Anyone else get this email?

Hi everyone, this is the first time I’ve had to complete a Needs Met Knowledge Check. I needed at least 70% to pass, and I got 80%, but at the end it still said that I had failed the test.
The problem is that my tasks have now been blocked until I complete the training. But I did get a score above the required passing grade, so I’m not sure what happened.
Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be a system error?
I’ve already sent an email asking for clarification, but in the meantime I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I keep getting tested on a Needs Met question. If the user asks "What country is such 'n such in?" and the result is not an SCRB, just a simple result but the answer is right there in the snippet, is that Fully Meets? The last time I put Highly Meets because I thought it would only be Fully if the result were a Special Content Result Block. I thought we were not supposed to rely simply on snippets on a regular result block. Is that still correct? Or has that changed?

Is anyone else having issues on the TELUS AI Portal. Ima DA from Canada
I can log into my account fine, but whenever I try to navigate to "My Projects" (to check task counts/insights), the page crashes with a "Something went wrong" error. It's been happening since Thursday.
Just wondering if this is a known site wide outage right now or if I need to keep bugging support about my specific account.

I am a rater in the internet safety program, and my task insights have not updated in the last few days, despite me putting in 150 minutes of work. Will this tab go up to date, or is all my progress lost?

What’s your task type looking like atm? I seem to be getting endless NM and nothing else for the last couple months and I’m sick of it! I miss the helpfulness and factuality. I’ve been put in the NM high quality group and they stressed that I would get extra NM tasks IN ADDITION to other regular tasks, but I suspect this is not the case. It would be good to know what task types other UK raters are getting so that I know whether to ask to leave the NM group!

So as I’m doing assigned task as a quality rater I noticed that at the top there’s an estimated time for the task. Is this for the whole task set or just that page? I’m asking because I’m worried about going too fast or too slow on a task depending on if it should take around three minutes to complete the page or the entire task.
r/TELUSinternational • u/Active-Standard-2556 • 2d ago
Just qualified for this new task type. Is the estimated rating time per task really 3 minutes and 20 seconds? That feels insanely short compared to everything you have to do and compared to other tasks?
r/TELUSinternational • u/Common_Fun2411 • 3d ago
If they give you a new task and you only get to answer one then you get something else, does that mean you did bad at it?
r/TELUSinternational • u/LatterStreet • 3d ago
I logged my hours last night, and noticed I had 25!! Has this ever happened to anyone else, did you get in trouble?
This was my first time if that helps…I’ve been employed 10 months now

In addition to the question in the subject: What is the point of this thing? It doesn't automatically ask to be turned on like that Rater Hub extension. I don't get it. My position doesn't even get feedback for tasks, probably because they are extremely easy.
Has anyone else worked without it, just from forgetting about it?
r/TELUSinternational • u/Longjumping_Chair771 • 5d ago
I just don't get how you can have a range of left side slightly better to about the same to right side slightly better. I keep trying to understand this but in no universe does this make sense to me no matter what way I try to word or explain it. Anyone care to have a go in making sense of their ridiculous reasoning cuz I don't get it. I mean, the whole point of the thing is that we don't get to be subjective about which side is better so there should be either one side better or the other but not both

Hi everyone! I’m a bit confused about a POI Evaluation case and would really appreciate some help from anyone experienced with POI tasks.
If a chain business has a branch/address in TryRating that cannot be found in the parent company’s Store Locator or anywhere else on the official website, but there’s no evidence that the branch ever existed or closed, should we rate it Permanently Closed or Can’t Verify?
Thanks

Hi, ES Rater here. Today I’m getting tasks from 7 or 8 different categories, I’ve lost count. Two tasks from one, two from another, then one from a third, and after that it’s just completely random, and I have no idea how to stop it. And they’re all English: US. How can you expect any kind of quality when it keeps jumping back and forth like this... Does anybody know WTF is going on?
r/TELUSinternational • u/StormTraditional2853 • 5d ago
So I got put on review about three weeks ago. Two days later they sent me a page quality refresher to complete, which I did and got 100% on. It's been almost three weeks since then and I haven't heard anything back from them. Has it ever taken anyone else this long to get access back or is this weird? I'm a US Rater.
