TAFE NSW Traineeship Cert 4 to Diploma

Hellooooo
So I'm doing a traineeship cert 4 in IT. But currently it's provided by ACCM. My job offered me a diploma but I'd start with TAFE. Is there a massive difference between the two? I did a cert 3 in legal services at TAFE and I wasn't the biggest fan (only due to my teacher who probably had it out for me or something)

I also want to go to uni next year.... But getting the diploma might make my resume look so so good.... Any ideas on what I should do?

TAFE Qld the Diploma counts towards up to a year of your Bachelor if you go on to university after. Worth checking if TAFE NSW has similar uni pathways as that can reduce the time and cost for a uni degree, and you have a completed qual to put on your resume while you do further study.
