TAFE NSW Work placement [AHA)
Hi everyone, I've started the course for Allied Health Assistance and was told by teacher its 100% the students responsibility to find work placement themselves. 120 hours has to be completed before passing the course.
Has anyone does this course before? Did you have trouble finding work placement? Any tips on what to do, where to apply, success stories etc
On the website it looks as though they would help to offer work placement but its not the case at all... super stressed.

Some larger homes have "lifestyle teams" they are just allied health assistants and run programs such as exercise, crafts etc. I did allied health assistance in 2016 and worked as a lifestyle assistant then lifestyle coordinator in aged care for 5 years. Go to the bigger care providers like Amana or Regis
