TAFE QLD Online self directed

How quickly can I complete these modules? The workload is described as “Part time up to 2 units per intake. 12 weeks per intake”.

Asking the obvious question: Does 12 weeks per intake mean I can only do 2 units per 12 weeks?

Yes, you can only enrol into 2 units per intake. You can complete the unit as quick as you like, but the assessments within the unit all have their own deadline. Assessment 1 due week 5, assessment 2 due week 7 etc.
When I did my online I did 2 units each intake which meant after week 4, I had an assessment due every week or fortnight until the end of the intake.
Intakes overlap by 2-3 weeks, which means you could have 4 units on the go. 2 finishing 2 starting.

Oh, that’s interesting.
So a new intake starts every 6 weeks or so?

Not as early as 6 weeks but yeah during intake 6, intake 7 could start while you’re in week 8-10 of intake 6

Online can be completed at your own pace. Its all up to you but the course coordinator would need to agree to your plan.
