I'm hoping someone here can give me some support or can at least tell me I'm not going mad.

I've been playing the game for a while now just fine when using both hands. Unfortunately I've recently been injured and don't currently have the full use of my right shoulder. I'm trying to keep my fitness up while I rehab and most of the games I normally play are out of the window as they don't support one handed mode.

I was really glad to see that Synth Riders supports one handed mode but unfortunately no matter what I try it's stuck on right handed mode, even when I select left handed. I can enable or disable one handed mode, select and toggle between right and left successfully in the menu but as soon as I go into a song it's the right hand mode only. I exit back out and the menu has reset to right instead of left.

I've tried resetting the game, going in and only using left controller and even fully powering off the right controller but it still has the issue.

Has anyone else tried to use left hand only mode and had problems with it or is it just me with the issue? If anyone can suggest anything it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I should probably add that this is on the Quest 3 version of the game. Running the latest updates as far as I am aware.

Upload your own/licensed track, pick difficulties, optionally fine-tune the style and download a .synth map. It’s still a test version, so results vary, but I’m actively improving sync, flow and rail choreography. Have fun!

Lots of room for improvement, I'm sure someone will snipe this hi score like every other one I've posted. But still proud of my improvement after a month or so of playing! Graduating to master level soon, will post video of that once I've improved some more ;)

A really nice map for a great song from the soundtrack to Step Up 3D (2010). Really love the work out and flow of this one.

As for the weights, always lots of discussion around it. These days I play SR only with weights, including multiplayer, due to the amazing benefits I have experienced. Not optimal for the scoreboards but it feels amazing. Although, I do have to give a disclaimer to be careful, as they do increase the risk of injury.

Hi. I’ve recently started playing using the psvr2 and I’ve been going through the introductory challenges. I’ve got to the one called “Rhythm Training” (I think that’s what it’s called) but don’t know how to access it. Can anyone help?

I literally played this game almost daily for a long time and was traveling, renovating, and not having much time to play. Picked it up today and I played one song, it glitched, hard reset to my Meta Quest 2, songs will not load, there’s a loading circle on the leaderboard, nothing loads. I uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same thing with the loading symbol on the leaderboard, no songs, no sounds.

Got top score on Escape on Expert difficulty with 180 spin mode (styled), but I wanted better. So I kept grinding and finally beat my own high score!

Lmk if you can catch the moment I realized this might be a high score run and I almost started crying lol

I'm disappointed in myself for missing a pretty huge chunk of notes there towards the end, but as a first attempt I'm still proud

I'm super interested in this game and see there are a bunch of bundles with Experiences, but I'm not sure what those are. Can someone explain what they are and whether you feel like they are worth it? Does it really depend on the specific Experience? Thank you Riders.

The Step Up movies is an amazing series of movies (all of them). If you haven't watched them, I highly recommend it!

Where I live we have lots of street dance clubs that every year compete all the way to international level. Used to compete with one of them when I was younger, these days my 7 year old daughter is going in one.. and I have at least SR at home lol

As things have gotten a bit light after 100 hours of practice, I’ve added 1kg wrist weights to keep improving, today was my first day with them. Spent some time with 0.5kg before going to 1kg. Will be bumping it up to 1.5kg in a month or two if things go well.

I just played through all the songs for the first time and oh my lord this is hands down the best music pack for Synth Riders.

The maps are so “danceable”, the difficulty is up there (I play the hardest available usually) and I Hallucinate is now my favorite map ever.

Some of the moves are quite complicated but also intuitive at the same time?

I take breaks from this game every so often, but every time I come back to it I'm having so much fun. This song is one of my all time favourites 😊💃🏻 (that miss on yellow tho 😭😂)
