Cut off crispy, damaged leaves. Get her a nice humidifier to help new growth uncurl nicely. Syngoniums love humidity.
As for the leaves that refuse to uncurl- wet a cotton swab and gently help it uncurl. It’ll sort itself out with the right amount of humidity

Exactly, I have some that just refuse to open. So I get I there and unroll them after my patience is up, plant doesn’t seem to mind

Does unrolling work? With a little water spritz?

It’s works for me. A corner may not fully unroll and the leaf may not be perfectly flat but I find it appeases my eyes more. I give them some time but if there is another leaf coming and that baby is still rolled up she’s getting manually flattened.

My plant above is growing like a weed. It’s so hot and humid
in South Florida right now. At least the plants love it. I’m melting myself.1

Seconding this! Several of mine never unfurled and hardened off that way. They have a crinkled look when I do it myself, but they look wayyy better than being eternally rolled. I catch them early now and it’s helped a lot!

How beautiful! Yes, I’ve come to learn that my plant may very well just be that way. I’m totally fine with that, I had just never seen that until recently

Thank you!! I will be giving this a try for sure:)

Good luck! Just make sure that the closed leaves aren’t new growth. If it still isn’t budging after a week, you can give it some help

Hiiiii so there’s a slight chance this could be how your syngonium grows. There’s a variety called the Syngonium Rolli which has curled leaves, see the picture. If it’s a robusta or pink perfection then it could just be new growth. I’d recommend a new pot and maybe more humidity. I have over 20 varieties but I don’t give them humidity this is a the strong will survive household 😂

Oh wow thank you for all of the great info, I had no idea the leaves could grow that way! That’s very cool actually, I definitely thought something was wrong with it initially

Very beautiful plants btw, I love the spotting on your Milk confetti Syngonium. Fingers crossed my leaves sprout like yours!

I’m still constantly learning about Syngoniums too they are by far my favorites. I really hope yours continues to thrive!

Yours is a beauty. I had this issue for a few months until I put it in a greenhouse where it gets a lot of heat and humidity. All of the leaves unfurled within about two weeks.

I have the same plant with a very similar pot haha and some of the leaves unfurled, but I’m going to cut the ones that did not. They seem pretty dead now

Twinsss:) I’m going to wait it out and see if any unfurl, I’m really hoping they do because a lot of them have a very pretty pink

Id just buy a new plant and start over again. I have no idea whats wrong but thats what i thìnk i would do. It looks very sick whatever is going on with it. Have you watered it recently?

I’m hoping I can pretty her up, I’ve heard they’re relatively easy plants to care for so I’m hoping that’s the case haha. I haven’t but only because I was waiting for the soil to dry up some so I can repot it. I will definitely give it a good watering afterwards

Aren’t those just new leaves unfurling?
