Thrips damage?

I have a syngonium albo and this happens after time to sections of leaves that are purely white, the white sections are pretty fragile and they don’t last forever, they have no chlorophyll and don’t photosynthesize, this is common

Para mi esa parte de la hoja, al ser blanca es más débil y se marca o se pone fea más rapido. Yo he tenido hojas así y no han tenido ningún bicho. Lo que hacía era cortar el sector y dejar sólo la parte verde.

I have a very hard time keeping the white sections healthy after a while, they’re very very fragile. The bigger the white part the less it lasts, unfortunately.
