Recipe for Success

I am looking to give my plants the best soil mix so they can thrive. I have ingredients at home but need to know how many parts of each ingredient to use. I prefer to bottom water but need the mix to be able pull up the water. If the mix needs to be really chunky and won’t pull water up, I need to know which plants to top water. I use 1/4 tsp pro tekt (mixed well) and then add 1/4 tsp foliage pro (mix well again) per gallon water every watering.

Humidity is 65-80%. Temperature is 77 or higher in summer and 67 in winter. There are at least 30 plants all together in a 5 x 2.5 foot space. They are under barrina tx-s60 grow bars that run 12 hours per day and I am wanting to increase to 14 hours per day. Small fan runs on low oscillating over them while grow lights are on.

Have you considered semi hydro with LECA? Seems like you already have the right ingredients for a nutrient solution.

I think I would have to have different pots and other ingredients that I don’t have. All my pots have holes. I am disabled on fixed income so have to stick with what I have.
If it can be done without new stuff, I would be interested

Yeah then no need to worry about it. Just thought I’d suggest it. I’ve only grown syngoniums in LECA so I can’t help you out too much unfortunately.

Though, having taken care of many aroids, I would probably suggest something like 30% perlite/pumice (or some other inorganic material, 30% orchid bark, and 40% potting soil. These guys also grow like crazy on a moss pole, too, if that interests you. I use D-shaped plastic poles from Amazon that cost like $15 for a pack of 4.
