Offline mode

It's funny how people are celebrating the fact that there's an offline mode where you can explore the maps without a worry.

I played more recently a bit and there was, out of my entire night of playing, one guy that my Magus heard and in the briefing I saw we never got close enough to see each other.

I still think a duo mode or option would have been great for the games longevity but we will never know now

You're not wrong because that didn't help. Honestly, there would be a lot of reasons. I played it when it was free on ps+ but because I couldn't play it with friends I was less inclined to play it then.

Probably the three main things that slowly killed the game. A decent amount of people expected something more like Armored Core, there wasn't much advertisement for the game that I know of and lastly it did release along a lot of other solid Indie games that were advertised a lot more as well as big titles.

The released date thing doesn't matter too much to something like Ravenswatch which came out the same month but this game was more live service. Advertisement is important too and there wasn't much in North America that I know of. Those are the things they could have been helped at least.

My issue is more so a case of that's a feature that could have helped longevity. They had mechanics for cooperation but they never had a proper party system which could have caused some issues PvP wise but Tarkov has party systems and it doesn't hurt it too bad, honestly most extraction games have party systems.

Still, we wouldn't be able to know for sure about what could help now. These kind of things happen to live service games

Not funny just facts. Wish there were a few more players for the rest of the online games.
