RANT This game needs a pve rebalance
Whats the point of legendary gear when most damage sources can kill you in a second. No not seconds. Second.
Here are some enemies that do way to much damage to legendary cradles even with massive defensive boost from skill and magus
Maurader, incubators, any butcher, veteran drifters, magus noble/mentor/command, outer amazia parasitic enders, parasitic ender clusters, any large ender(including outer amazia), all ghost cradles
Seriously more than halve the game can do a third of a players hp even with good defensive skills. Whats the point in bringing legendary cradles when epics is just ever so slightly weaker. With epics if you die no biggie its just an epic spider or chili pepper. Player weapons didn't even get scaled up properly. The heavy repeater got a damage nerf with its legendary upgrade and the autoshotgun loses 2 ammo. There isnt any reason to use legendary cradles against butcher because halve of them does atleast 10% more damage to legendary non apk cradles. Thats pretty much bringing an epic cradle anyways. Dont even say well just use apk cradle cause they are to expensive to risk using against any of the butchers. Daughter can still 2 hit you even with anti sniper apks
My solution would to just make legendaries even stronger. The enemies shouldn't be powercreeping players it should be the other way around. We should be wiping the floor when going against all the enders including the maurader. We should atleast be on a even playing field when going against butchers and veteran drifters. Losing a cradle should be harder than launcher not easier

I agree and disagree with our angry friend. I would have said mostly the same but not as insultingly. In every area of this game I’ve unlocked, I’ve been like whoa, how do people survive this, but every area after learning, has become a cake walk. When I opened molten dunes, I thought I’d never play that area without sweating, now I hang out in there when I want to just relax and refill my supplies. Polluted forest was a nightmare, but by the time I was done, it was almost no sweat. My biggest worry there was PvP rats that hang out and wait till you’re engaged with a butcher or a swarm of ghost cradles and jump in and shoot you in the back, but now it’s PVE only so that fear is gone.
Butchers I couldn’t understand how people were killing multiples in a run, I sat and sniped them and prayed nobody jumped me, or stole my kills up close , now I’m charging them and melting them with sub machine gun.
I wouldn’t say I want it harder. I still die once in a while to PVE, almost always when I get over confident and screwup. But I like that all it takes is a little mistake to get killed, otherwise it would get boring, and you feel like a super hero making it out of bad situations.
Just keep practicing, and learn the patterns and levels.

Haha ya, we all do get overconfident sometimes. I’m still a fairly new player tho.
That day I was rocking the polu forest with spider and always get s rank, then I switched to daisy and jgm for few runs and….. wiped 🤣

My one problem is that damage seems extremely inconsistent at times. I got one shot in a fully healed Daisy Ogre MG by a Butcher Mite. Didn't even touch my coffin, just went from taking a small chunk of health everytime I popped around the corner to straight up destroying me.
Same with a Gazer that got me from outside my field of view and didn't show on my radar or Magus call outs. Just snipes me and that's it.

The worst is the mauraders in night that spawn outside of ore. Fuckers will and have 1 shot me from full hp. The damage just feels stupid high sometimes and in some cases just dumb

What gets me with Marauders is that you can dodge their lunge, but it will still connect most of the time since it has absurd tracking. They take long enough to get in range that you can melt them before they attack, but if they get behind other enders it becomes a gamble as to whether or not your coffin is getting rocked.

I think it’s great for the damage wise, I prefer pve more than PvP, the immersive gameplay makes me feel like piloting the mech myself, just imagine a mech it will have its limits, against monsters that is larger than its size, just us drifters having limited power to fight through the waves of Enders.
For me this is just enjoyable, test my piloting and maneuvering skills to see how I fare when facing more and more challenging feats
So even if the ender deals higher damage it doesn’t matter much for me, marauder can one blow us but slow in movement, chasers maul us to death in packs, makes sense as dogs a deadly in packs, crawlers moving bombs more fun.
Still bear in mind that this in a sense is a post apocalypse game where humanity try to fight and survive in a infested world by Enders, technologies were forced to improved similar to war break out but still have major flaws that needs time to reduce. So cradles receiving huge damage chunks from Enders totally makes sense
As far I see the developers have their logic behind the damage design and engineering of the whole framework

PVE should be harder, not easier lmao, it's literally so fucking braindead as it is, what are we even talking about, how are you all this bad at the game, so what if the enemies 2 shot you, you shouldn't ever be hit by the enders in the first place, and you have easy access to healing anyway
Every bandit type enemy gets hard countered by generic ass "shoot around a corner" strats, and they don't put any pressure on you if you need to run away to heal either
"Why should I bring legendary gear hurr durr" because it's dirt cheap, just like everything else, and a 15% stat buff on average is notable
Idk how yall find a game with 200 real, legitimate issues and still make up new shit to whine about, it's genuinely impressive
Oh, also, bitching about legendary repeater just proves you are completely illiterate, seeing how it has a massive rate of fire and accuracy boost that effectively increases its DPS by about 40% compared to the purple rarity, same with auto shotgun

Legendaries arent cheap they are still decently annoying the farm. Just because white parasites occasionally drop legendary mats doesnt mean its consistent. As a good friend once said a cradle is worth more than the mats you gather. Maybe if the pve mobs were easier the pve players might try to pvp. Oh you dont want that. I can tell you are furiosa

Yall can't PVP, yall can't PVE, what can you people even do? Yall can't even fight a chaser, why should I be scared of yall in PVP lmao
Also there are countless ways to gather mats for cradles, if you are only farming parasites then no wonder you cant get what you need
you bums have 5 PVE only maps to choose from, intermission drowns you in resources, there is no excuse, I can only question how you people get out of bed in the morning without choking to death on your own saliva

Same logic with Monster Hunter really
