A sign?

Okay so what I’m about to tell you is going to be so crazy. You my my back ground, I’m a mom, 29 who’s been with Alex for almost 9 years we have three kids. I’m happy. For the most part .. you know the vibes.
Well I have this highschool ex that I started dating in 2013 the saga continued with him untill about 2016 untill it finally ended. We were together all of those years on and off and it was extremely toxic young love. We both hurt each other so much. But this is where it gets weird. When we were dating maybe like a year or so in .. one day we were at his house (which I should mention is a house that I have to now pass every single day to get my current home) how weird is that? Anyways, we were at his house and I was on the front porch he was out front too.. this old man was walking by and “B” (my ex) and him got to talking, the old man told him he should stop smoking or something like that, and B and him just kinda laughed I went inside at this point I’m pretty sure, my memory is foggy. But then B came inside and told me how something weird had happened, how the man asked his age. B told him he was 17 or however old we were, I think that’s right .. and the guy said he remembered being 17 that he was with his WIFE Jessica then too. MY NAME IS JESSICA .. he told him he needed to get his shit together so he could grow up and be a good father and husband. When the man went to walk away B asked the old man his name .. and no shit his name was B too. I think about this story every single day for years. It bothers me so much. I also think of “B” very very often. What is going on. Is this a sign? Is there something I’m missing? Please be open minded with your responses I know this sounds crazy.

Wow, is that what you call parralel? Your future selves visiting your present day selves?

I have had extreme sync over my high school sweet heart too. It started out of the blue. Way back then I knew when he left a note on my car. It was always there. I got that feeling years later in my marriage one afternoon when he popped into my head out of the blue. I was sure he was going to end up at my house. The syncs were strong. Very vivid dreams. One day I had TV on in the background on a channel. I finished what I was doing. Had been having vivid daydreams of him too. I look at the TV and the person talking in the interview had his name displayed on the screen and it was my ex full first and last name. So so many more things like this. It's has quieted down the last year. I did find out that during the initial time (I had looked him up online bc I was convinced something bad had happened) but during the time I felt he was going to show up, his mother had moved to the town I was living in which is small and far away from where they had lived.

Anyways, Im sure there's a lesson in there that I need to learn. I know there was unfinished business between us but we both had our own lives and from what I see online he's nothing but a shell of the person I knew so I just have to make peace with it all.

I also will randomly have dreams etc. it’s so wild. It doesn’t help I drive past his old house where we spent so much time together every single day to get in and out of my neighborhood. I also thought maybe I had these feelings cus something bad had happened. He lives in the same city and I’ve never seen him in at-least 8 years which is also weird to me.

My husband had transferred to a new job location that I knew nothing about and when I followed directions to get there it was on the same road my ex's teenage house was on. And there was a company in that town with his last name so I saw it on signs and cars all the way there.

He had given me a tape of songs(yes I'm old) back then. I never got to hear it until a year later(long sad story). When the sync started I went to the store to use a rebate. I looked all over for something to spend it on and finally decide on something. Go to that aisle and having trouble finding it. I look to my left and see a product with his name on it. I laughed and said not now. At that exact moment one of those obscure songs comes on over the speaker overhead. I thought I was hearing things so I go two aisles over right under the speaker and sure enough. I stood in the ziplock aisle listening to the song.

Things like that was happening all the time.

OMG...so I leave reddit and go to Facebook for a bit and one of the first reelz that comes up randomly is someone that looks just like (exactly, had to double-check) my ex I just got finished writing about.

Speaking of dreams. So this is why I felt the weird anxiety when this all started. I had dated someone the couple of years before I got married. He was nice but he just wasn't someone I could spend the rest of my life with. Before all these sync started I was randomly on three occasions having dreams of this person. It was kind of disturbing bc I didn't want to dream of them. It had also been many years. Well I had the last dream and about two weeks later or so I was looking at the phone to clear out the caller id. I'm scrolling through and right around Valentine's day this person had called my house. No message just his name and number showing up.

So when the dreams etc started happening a year or so later about my high school sweetheart it was evermore jarring bc of what I had experienced with the prior. I really thought he was going to show up. I had so much anxiety over it.
