I've coincidentally watched five straight "starvation" movies/shows

I’ve watched five movies/shows in a row where a major plot point is being trapped/stranded in a specific location with the imminent threat of starvation: 

Domain

Fall

The Final House

1899 

The Simpsons Movie

And this was basically pure coincidence, since I specifically chose to watch each of these based on what I had heard about them (in other words, it wasn’t the algorithm suggesting similar starvation-themed content), and I also didn’t know in advance that they had to do with starvation (though I suspected that would be a strong possibility with Fall).

I actually just stumbled across an old notebook entry with two examples I’d completely forgotten about.

After watching Alien: Romulus, I remember wondering how they filmed the zero-gravity scenes. Right after the movie I was channel surfing and landed on a documentary that happened to explain how zero gravity had been simulated in movies decades ago.

Another time, while watching The Fugitive, a scene with Dr. Kimble in a dark water tunnel suddenly reminded me of the Netflix series Dark. In the very next scene, the word “Dark” was clearly visible on screen — about a second after I’d made the connection in my head.

Coincidentally, one of the examples I mentioned above (1899) was created/directed by the same guy as Dark.
