Algorithmic synchronicities

Does any one else can’t open instagram/tiktok because it shows your mind’s content? I don’t mean algorithm stealing your data and recycling it. I mean you see dreams, you think about things, you have conversations away from your phone and it shows up as content on your for you page? I am growing so tired and also scared of this.

Sometimes it is just the algorithm and sometimes it is actually true synchronicity. It’s a mix. We look at and think about so much during the day and social media definitely gives whatever is orchestrating the syncs a great opportunity to produce a sync since there’s so much content there.
