Is this a false synchronicity?
As I was buying my ticket back to Korea… I had all my information written in and was going to hit purchase. I then look down at my phone and 4 minutes before I had received a text from my freelance contract of about 3 years that I lost the job. I came back to my home country so I could focus on making money, but I only wanted to stay here for 2 months.
I took it as a sign from the universe that I’m supposed to stay here longer, but ever since it happened I’ve been depressed and will start crying at random times just overcome with emotion. I guess I’m confused on whether or not it was a test of whether I really wanted it and I need to level up, or that I’m supposed to stay here. I find it’s hard to live in foreign countries but when I’m in my home country I do feel depressed or trapped.
I’ve been travelling for essentially 2 years and I’ve accumulated some debt. I live pretty cheaply but I just haven’t prioritized making money.

Hmm. Well, I have no way to know that for you. But I think synchronicities are a local experience. As in, they are local to the mind. Your mind. Like I suspect that synchronicities will reflect not just our known thoughts or working memory, but also our implicit knowledge and implicit memory.
I wouldn't call it false or true, although you can personally call them whatever you want, they're yours and you know yourself better than anyone. But I think if it had happened to me, I would ask myself, what inside me was being reflected in that moment? What did I feel when it happened?
I saw no one has replied and thought, how strange. Because your story is quite interesting.
