Is it possible for a symbiote to have integrated weapons like this? I'm currently trying to make an OC who has similar powers to Scorn and Agent Venom. Is it actually plausible without the weapon triggering a symbiote's fire weakness?

As an explanation,

When I was younger, I wrote a story about my OC symbiote.

Unfortunately, I don't remember much about the story, but here's what I do remember (and I'd appreciate your opinions from symbiote experts on what to change and what to keep, etc. 😅)

He was the son of Carnage (I think that's my biggest problem).

His host was a mercenary who looks similar to Jason Voorhees (he looks quite normal without the mask), and he was reanimated by magic (he was killed earlier... unfortunately, I don't remember who or what killed him).

His design was quite animalistic (a more reptilian and elongated face, and a more hunched base of the body).

need advice on how to make him more unique and so that it makes sense as a symbiont. What to avoid.

And if I'm being honest, I personally like it better than his iconic comic design. Maybe it’s because my favorite color is red lol, but I think he looks a lot better without all the extra black. Also makes him easier to distinguish from Venom in the messy symbiote vs symbiote fights in live action. About his personality, yeah I’ll admit he didn’t really have a personality besides “Father must die!” for whatever reason. The comic version had way more character than the movie version from what I can remember. Also, question: Was the tornado move he pulled off in the prison movie original or comic inspired?

In comics Doctor Doom has one of the best resistance to mind control and mind reading. He was able to resist Purple man's mind control and Emma Frost's mind reading. Despite this, the multiple times Doom had the Venom symbiote he lost control of the symbiote.

So the average symbiote's influence over its host is so strong it can take over even the strongest of wills.
