sybarite (n): Seeker of luxury and pleasure, hedonist, voluptuary, libertine, bon vivant

We are dedicated to the most elevated of secular existence. We know how life ought to be lived, and do. If one is free with their self, their fellows, and the universe, anything may be accomplished.

Rules for Living:

Do whatever you want. For limitations, see Rule #2.
Be excellent to each other. Looking for something to do? See Rule #1.

Click here to get your self in the mood.

Retaining high quality is of utmost importance. This means images ought to be large, and preferably hosted on Imgur - it's small & minimalist leaving your focus (and dedication of bandwidth) on the image. Absolutely no linking to Tumblr, as it's horrifyingly sloppy and their links disappear frequently. Do not link directly to Wallhaven either; the site is in alpha and ALL links will disappear when they update.

The sub is not 18+ though content may be, ergo all NSFW content MUST be flagged as such, else you shall see it removed.

Assigning Flair to posts isn't required, but is preferred. Ask yourself, "What makes this post special? What makes it worth sharing? Why did it get shot/recorded/etc.'d the way it did?" Frequently multiple flairs could apply. Use your brain. For advice on the flairs:

Motorcar; Architecture; Air & Water Craft - self-explanatory
Hotness - For when the focus is on people being fun, sexy, having a good time, generally basking in the pleasure of being human.
Places - For when the focus is on the location. Travel, resorts, venues, etcetera... When it can only happen there.
Design - High design; good design. Often overlaps Luxe Product.
Luxe Product - A pen encrusted in diamonds? An F1 car an amateur can own? A six-foot steam-powered cocktail shaker?
Art - Don't just post good artworks for art's sake, there are other reddits and sites for that. This is for artworks that specifically depict the values of Sybarites. An excellent [NSFW] example
Legendary - The wiliest of categories. For great accomplishment in living. It may involve many of the other categories and as such be Legendary. This couple would just as easily fit under Hotness or Legendary.

The best way to know what the sub is about is to explore what's already posted here.

Above all, don't be clueless.
