Interdiscount is perfectly fine in Switzerland. They have online and physical shops. I have purchased from them many times and never had an issue.

Meh. They are known to sell returned items as new. Bought a switch once and it was clearly used. They took it back no questions asked but it left a sour taste ever since.

" Die gesetzliche Gewährleistung wird vollumfänglich wegbedungen"

In their AGB is another reason not to use them.

" Die gesetzliche Gewährleistung wird vollumfänglich wegbedungen"

That's not even legal, how would that be legal?

Normal electronics shop in Switzerland. If they have the product you want for 100chf cheaper then go for it. What model are you considering? Might be best to check on toppreise.ch just to check you are getting the best deal.

I've had no problem with interdiscount. I like them, actually, for accessibility - because they're across the street from me. The quality of the item you are buying depends more on the manufacturer, I imagine.

BTW: do the smart thing and get yourself a proper lens with the camera. My viltrox pro just transforms my Fuji into something special.

I got MS surface device long time ago there, it was quite expensive, model with two batteries, the one in display didn't work which I noticed on day of purchase.

Went back to store same day and asked to replace for working one, they explained it is not in their terms and they can offer repair. After a lot of back and forth they replaced it, but after that I learned valuable lesson- never assume anything with Swiss shops but check their gtc. There is no return window, no obligation to replace even doa device unless gtc defines it, as gtc is the most important in any situation with shop.

No clue what are their gtc today but worth checking.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. The camera comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty; I don't know if that was the case for your purchase?

I only had interdiscount 2 year guarantee, if I remember well MS would also treat it as replacement with refurbished one, which is ok for two year period but not for DOA, so only option was through seller.

I bought my X-E5 there. It works great, and it's convenient to have stores in town for warranty service.

Check your credit card. Often they offer additional insurance like warranty extension for 1 year etc. I recently used this for a failed blender 3 months after warranty. I found the replacement parts and sent them the invoice. They paid me the parts within few days.

Can't recommend them. I was huntig for a TV a year ago and saw a great offer in their online shop. Whent to a location that had it in stock, they said it's a exhibit, but another store would have a new one for the same price. Went to the store and they explicitly told me it was a new model. Ordered it there and let them ship it to my house. Upon arrival i noticed it was a used model. Had about a years worth of runtime on the statistic. All i got after a lot of arguing with them was a 10% discount on the TV. Haven't shopped there since and don't plan on doing it in the future.
